GARY MATHENY is a singer/guitarist that hails from Cleveland, Ohio but has his true roots in Nashville, Tennessee. He is an Award Winning Nashville Recording Star for quite some time. When he was young he played in a few garage bands and in 2016, he submitted songs to various contests, publishers and created a huge fan base.

I must admit, this song reminds of a song that Rupert Holmes would sing. Impressive, regardless. BACK WHERE I BELONG is super great with a true country feel that has a sweet melody and cool lyrics. The guitar riff is great to hear in this song and the chorus is right on the money. Check out the guitar work in this song. WOW!
SOLO DOS GATOS shows another side of Gary and all the types of music he played. This song has a super great melody as the lyrics really could give you a bit of a laugh. Super cool song from the first note. EXIT 10 once again has some very flashy guitar work as this is a rock like country song as the melody just flows along at a fast tempo. Listen close to the lyrics on this one.
I bet many of us relate to the lyrics on this song. Superb song. This sounds like a song a Garry Lee might do. YOU GET TO ME brings this album to an end with a slow love song with very sweet lyrics that we all can relate to. The melody is quite strong in this song. Great song.
