LIFE ON MARS is a quite intriguing story about two songwriters that have been creating amazing musical series projects for the past 8 years with more to come. The collaboration is between EARL KAYOSS and FERNANDO PERDOMO.
On this sixth album they had musical guests such as BILLY SHERWOOD, DENNY SEIWELL and other artists performing their songs. This 12 song CD, with one bonus track, was Engineered and Mastered by Grammy winner, Zach Ziskin.
Also, in the CD jacket of this album they have enclosed a booklet, the lyrics, art and all the musicians credits. EGO kicks off this album with a punkish type song that has a great melody and sweet lyrics. There is no doubt, this song will grow on you.
STRAY DOG has a hypnotizing kind of riff that will just pull you in as the melody and lyrics just flow along in the song. This one has a sweet, sweet groove. Check it out, it will blow you away.
AFTER ALL features BILLY SHERWOOD is a bittersweet song as he sings it from his heart and holds his own throughout the song. This song fits him perfectly and it shows it. Excellent.
TECHNOLOGY is an amazing laid back sweet song with superb voices that you'd die for. The lyrics and the melody just flows along as her vocals just pull you in.The violin plays so sweet throughout this song. I love it and this is a must hear song to hear.
AND BESIDES...is another laid back song that just flows along perfectly as the vocals are perfect in the song. Close your eyes and just flow along with this song. So nice. ROCK PEOPLE is a true, high energy rock song that will have you rockin' as the melody that is great to songalong, too. Crank it up and have some fun. Let it rip.
HURRICANE JANE is a quite interesting song as the flow of the song grows from being mellow to a strong groove and back again. The lyrics are super cool as you listen close to them.
