A.WAKE aka Anita Wake hails from South Yorkshire. U.K. She worked with a few other bands in which she was a bass player, singer and songwriter, but it just wasn't her.
She decided to go out on her own in which she had become a creative musical visionary. She became a pioneering, one of a kind, transcendental electronic music. She wants to achieve music that is good for the mental well-being and emotional music that is good for the heart, soul and mind for everyone.
The music and vocals are by A.Wake with additional music by Rob Cohen. The music was Mixed, Produced and Mastered by A.Wake/Rob Cohen and Mixed by Dave Sanderson. In the music review I will be selecting various songs by A.WAKE off of her EP and various tracks.
LIKE THE SUN is her latest release and this song is very interesting as the melody is sweet as the beat is solid throughout the song. The song, actually, has a very commercial sound to it. Very sweet.
ASK FOR A DREAM is laid back a bit as her voice is excellent in this song. The lyrics are great as you listen closely to them. I must say, this is quite a very impressive song. I love it.
LEMURIA brings more of a heavy sound with a dark feel to it. This song is to inspire the psychic ability in you. RAILINGS is a song that promotes healing and self love, sadness, loss and a song good for the heart. The song is very mystic in its only different way. A must to hear.
SHASTA [Mystic Mountain] has a sweet rock beat sound that will have you grooving to it. The beat is super kool and the melody can easily stay in your head. This song promotes self worth and confidence. Check it out. I must admit, this music is quite impressive besides being great for the well-being of yourself.
