WAKE THE NATIONS is a five piece band that hails from Finland. This band has been through trials and tribulations since they were formed in 2009. They have changed several band members throughout the years, and still have survived to have released several albums during that time.
The band members are: KRISTER STENBOM-Vocals; RISTO TUOMINEN-Guitar; JANNE "Gekko' GRANFORS-Bass and TUOMAS PELLI-Drums. This 10 CD was Mixed and Mastered by Erick Martensson and Produced by IIkka Wirtanen.
FAIRYTALE ROMANCE kicks off this album with a great guitar riff as the vocals come right in. This song has all the making of a top hit song as the melody and lyrics are right on the mark. What a super great band.
ALL I WANT has a nice distance intro and BAM! They hit you in the face. Their melodies and lyrics are super clean and nice to hear as they play. So sweet. LOVE DISTRACTS THE SENSES is a superb song from the very start and the melody once again is stronger than ever. Check the lyrics, too.
SEA OF EMPTINESS is an off pattern beat which is quite different, but the band keeps it tight. They are great at transitioning into a different pattern in the song with ease. Nice job. UNTIL THE END OF TIME is straight up solid rock and roll with a laid back riff at some points. The melody and lyrics are superb from the very start.
BULLETPROOF is their latest release which has a great commercial sound that you'll love. You have to hear it for yourself.
