ERIC HAGEN resides in Sturgeon, Wisconsin and is making waves with his Country/Bluegrass/ Blues/Americana sound. PONDEROSA PINES kicks off this CD with a slow bluey sound that can get into your soul. The lyrics are straightforward and the melody is laid back as the guitar goes right through you. All I can say is, WOW! SOMETIMES has an excellent melody with lyrics that will make you think. I must admit, it sounds like a love song sung straight from the heart, and I love how this song sounds with every note that is played. This song is truly a gem.
3:Am is a great song as he tells his story and things that happen in the night. The song is played simple, yet is stronger than ever. The guitar parts stand out on their own, note per note. You can really feel this alot and you'll want to play it over and over again. I am impressed with every song I heard on this EP! Check the other songs out for yourself.
