GEMINI METHOD is quite an interesting band where Fl meets Georgia. The band's music is where Classic rock meets Funk with a bit of Metal and New wave thrown in. How often do you hear that combination of music? There is a background story to this album dealing with the 1970's Mafia New York culture.
The band is: DAVID LOVELL-Lead vocals, Bass. lead and rhythm guitars; BEN HERMANDEZ-Godzilla guitar solos; PAUL NASSAR-Keyboards; RICHIE JONES; Drums, percussion; SAMANTHA JONES-Backing vocals and FRED 'ALMOND JOY'-Lead vocals on The Politics of Contraband. This 11 song CD was Produced and Engineered by David Lovell, Ben Hernandez and Richie Joes and Mixed by Ben Hernandez.
VANITY'S A DEADLY SIN has a lead guitar that kicks some butt and then some. The band is in your face and the band might sound a bit familiar to you. I think I hear a bit of KISS thrown in there. Great song. THE CHASE is a great instrumental that will have you rockin' out. Turn it up loud.
CAGES takes a different turn for the band which is quite intriguing to hear. I love the off beat that is quite nice to hear. Cool song. I HEARD FROM YOU is definitely a pure rock and roll song with a lot of spitfire in it. The lead guitar work will blow your socks off. GIVE UP ON THE GHOST is a bit laid back during the intro which then switches into a great, solid slow song that will have you wanting to hear back. I must admit, this one is quite nice and has great lyrics. I love it.
THE POLITICS OF CONTRABAND brings this CD to an end. You have to check out this song for yourself..This song purely rocks. The lead guitar work will blow your socks off. Be on the lookout for this band in the very near future. PLEASE do not confuse this band with THE GEMINI METHOD band. I'd like to give DAVID LOVELL a BIG THANK YOU for being in touch.
