SCHOOL FRIENDS is an eclectic power pop, rock, punk alternative trio band that hails from Easton, Pa.I believe that pretty much covers all the genres of music they play and that says a lot. The band is: STEVEN JOHNSON-Guitar, vocals; ISSAC LEGGETT-Bass, vocals and CALEB VAN WHY-Drums, vocals.
This 7 song CD was Produced, Mixed and Mastered by School Friends. YOU'LL THANK ME LATER kicks off this CD and the band reminds me a lot of Semisonic. Once you hear the vocals on this song, you'll get it. SNOOZE TIME has quite a different intro and the melody seems hard to follow. You can be the judge for yourself. Give it a listen.
THREAD is more laid back with a nice guitar sound throughout the song. The melody is much better in this song but the vocals have to be desired as does their harmonies. NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS takes you on different levels in this song. They seem to have lost their way at some point in the song, but it still prevails quite interesting.
