PORTER is far from your run of the mill band. This quintet is quite jazz and has rich melodies among an array of different instruments. ALONE kicks off this CD with a bouncy rhythm that will have you smiling. Crank it up and enjoy the sweet acoustic guitar solo. WHAT I LEARNED has a sweet melody as the congos really stand out in this song as it gets driven into your head.
CHANGE IN THE WEATHER is a laid back jazz song that has a haunting guitar virtuosity. You can feel like you're in a dark, smoky pub listening to this song! CAMOUFLAGE is an uptempo song with great lyrics and laid back rhythm. The vocals and guitar are a true treat in this song. You'll enjoy the ride.
SITTING ON TOP OF THE WORLD reminds me a bit of a rap song with a rock influence.The lead guitar solo is, definitely, a highlight. ...IF THEY DON'T WANT TO LISTEN brings this CD to an end. This song is a sweet country favored song that is quite bubbly and will have you smiling from ear to ear.
