JUMBOWOOD is a 'mystery band' that hails from Charleston, S.C. They released one CD titled, JUMBOWOOD. Their 10 song CD has no mention of who produced, mixed or mastered their CD. The band members are as written on the back on the CD cover are: ERIC-Voice, fiddle and mimosas; STEPHEN-Guitar, vox, family planning; MARKUS-Jack of all trades, master of none and BUCKSHOT-Bass, jokes and skeet.
Also, the back cover stated they are managed by SpaceOut Management which is: Michael and Kelly Hunt. WALKATHON kicks off this amazing band's CD and it's one of those songs that you can play over and over again and always hear something different each time. You can't say that about many bands, but this is one of them.
This song will put you in a hypnotic state. Their next song titled, FLAKE, will really get into your head with their mysterious touch and it has the greatest melody ever. This song will stick to you like glue. THE BIG EASY is a bit mellow with an amazing sound of their own. The song is kept simple, yet it will have you hanging on every note.
ODE to a SHORT BASS PLAYER a bit of a dose of Matchbox 20 with a dose of their own touch. Also, the bass riff really stands out in the song. The band is so tight and everything fits into place. RAZOR ends this amazing CD with the band on speed zone. This is one of those bands that should have made 'The Big Time'. You can't find anything about the band anywhere.
